Bluebeam Revu 2020 with Studio is Tops for TrustRadius Reviewers

Bluebeam Revu 2020 has been top-rated by TrustRadius, with vetted reviews giving the construction and design software a score of 8.9 out of 10.

Reviewers hailed from companies of all sizes. Some 157 firms — out of 211 which had reviewed the product by 23 November — have given Revu a mark of 9 or 10, out of 10, for 2020.

According to Bluebeam, Revu has more than 1.9 million users worldwide, including 99% of top US contractors, 86% of top US design firms, 78% of top US specialist contractors and 74% of top international design firms, accounting for some 32 billion Studio transactions since 2010.

Reviewers using the construction software section of the Software Advice website have given Bluebeam Revu a score of 4.67 out of five, averaged across some 760 reviews at the time of writing. Some 552 reviewers gave the software a full five stars; 177 gave it four stars.

According to Software Advice editors, Bluebeam Revu is designed to streamline existing workflows and increase collaboration among project team members in real-time with customisable mark-up tools.

« This solution allows users to transform scanned images into easily searchable documents. Bluebeam Revu provides a set of markup tools to add text, notes, CAD drawings, stamps, and highlights to documents. Photos and videos can also be embedded within markups, » they write.

« Users can also create bookmarks as well as customize hyperlinks and page labels. PDFs created with Bluebeam Revu can be searched by keywords and symbols. Users can log in to Bluebeam Studio to access an existing Studio project or Studio session if an existing account already exists. »

With Bluebeam Revu, on and off site professionals can keep track of who said what, annotate at the same time together using Studio Sessions and automatically track all comments, speeding up design reviews. A live activity feed helps improve communication across teams, even distributed across locations.

Companies can use Bluebeam Revu 2020 to store and manage entire projects in the cloud using Studio Projects and invite teammates from anywhere to edit documents as required, improving quality assurance and control.

The company has just announced the launch of new regional cloud-collaboration servers to help customers worldwide, while complying with data residency requirements. This is part of the continuing expansion of their global Studio data infrastructure, providing customers with secure and compliant access to their cloud-based projects.

« Studio is a cloud-enabled collaborative space accessed from within Bluebeam Revu that allows project teams to mark-up documents and collaborate in real time from anywhere in the world, whether it be the job site, the trailer or, most recently, their homes, » the company said.

Bluebeam began expanding Studio’s global data infrastructure in August 2020 with a new Australian server joining the existing US and UK-based servers and plans to bring an additional server online in Germany in the fourth quarter of 2020.
