QBS Technology Group is gearing up to challenge its fellow distributors for yet another IT channel prize this September — at no less than the PCR Awards 2021.
Dave Stevinson, group CEO of QBS, has revealed that QBS will compete in the finals for the fourth year in a row at the awards run annually by BizMedia, publisher of channel magazine PCR.
« QBS Technology Group / QBS Software has made the shortlist as a finalist of the PCR Awards for Software Distributor of the Year, » he said, via LinkedIn.
« Thanks to all of our publishers, partners and people who have helped us on our journey. »
The full shortlist for all the categories can be read on the PCR website. The winners will be announced on Wednesday 28 September held in the Grand Connaught Rooms, London.
« We are excited! But who will win? We look forward to welcoming you all to the best industry event ever! » Stevinson wrote.
Caroline Easton, group head of marketing at QBS, said the nomination is testament to the superb dedication exhibited by the QBS team.
The team’s hard work has resulted in multiple achievements through tough times, including carbon neutrality.
« Many thanks to everyone who has gone on this journey with us, » she said.
« We have real reason to look ahead with hope — having seen such great results from all our efforts. That cannot be said for every company in this year of crisis. »
Industry leaders will select winners
PCR says the awards judges represent a diverse panel of discerning experts from across the industry.
They include: CI-Distribution group director Jon Atherton; Kingston Technology regional director Ann Keefe; BenQ head of consumer Carly Cheshire; Network Group/Technology to Go managing director David Tulip; and Kaspersky UK channel head Andy Bogdan.
