The superb teamwork and business successes at QBS were spotlighted again this week — this time for the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 Awards, even if this year’s ceremony was actually held online.
Dave Stevinson, CEO at QBS, attended on behalf of the QBS team. The main point of these events whether virtual or in-person is to consolidate and grow our businesses through networking across industries and sectors, he notes.
« Attending the Awards ceremony and the night itself is so important to continuing the success and innovation we’ve worked so hard to achieve so far, » he said.
« The awards are a key event for meeting other exceptional players, partners and even potential customers in the sectors we’re interested in. It’s about much more than just promoting QBS as an awardwinner. »
Reporting via Linkedin on 29 April, he said it was great to be recognised as the 40th largest international sales growth from a private company in the UK.
« Thanks to Fellow Hamish Stevenson and HSBC; good luck with your next mission!
« We also appreciate all the help from the channel for helping us get where we are today. Well done to all my co-workers in QBS Technology Group, QBS International, QBSFrance, Compuwave GmbH and QBS:Alpha Gen – where great people work together. »
According to the event organisers, some 275 attendees logged on via the livestream to network and celebrate the UK’s mid-market export stars on the night.
Guests included founders and senior directors from star alumni, such as Boden, Fever-Tree, Monica Vinader, Princess Yachts, The White Company and THG.
Jane Galvin, managing director and head of corporate banking at title sponsor HSBC UK, said:
« It’s fantastic to see so many brilliant UK businesses here at the International Track 2021 ceremony. My goodness me, what a year it’s been, with Brexit and the global volatility the pandemic has caused – I think it’s superb to be able to take time to celebrate. »
